Πέθανε στα 77 του χρόνια ο κιθαρίστας και συνιδρυτής του συγκροτήματος Animals, Χίλτον Βαλεντίν, ο οποίος είχε συνθέσει την εισαγωγή του House of the Rising Sun.
Τον θάνατό του επιβεβαίωσε η σύζυγό του, χωρίς ωστόσο να δημοσιοποιήσει τα αίτια του θανάτου του.
